Efficient operation and maintenance module released

Jul. 18 ,2025

Beijing, China, July 17, 2025 - Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON), a global high-tech company, announced today at the 3rd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (hereinafter referred to as

"Chain Expo") that the new efficient operation and maintenance module (Facility Management System) developed based on Honeywell's intelligent building operation and management

platform (BPS) has been officially released. As a local innovation specially designed for the Chinese market, this new software module will provide building operators with smarter and more

efficient building equipment and facility management, and help the digital transformation and efficiency improvement of building operation and maintenance in complex scenarios such as

industrial plants, commercial buildings, data centers, hotels, and campuses.

The new efficient operation and maintenance module focuses on three core capabilities: asset management, automated inspection and predictive maintenance. Through highly integrated

equipment monitoring, equipment health warning, customized equipment operation and maintenance reports and other functions, it enables building operators to manage equipment and

facilities more efficiently and comprehensively. With the seamless linkage between the intelligent task scheduling system and mobile terminals, the module can build an efficient and traceable

automated inspection mechanism. At the same time, relying on artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and big data analysis technology, this module can provide early warning of potential

equipment failures and promote the transformation of the operation and maintenance model from "passive response" to "active prevention."

"The release of this new efficient operation and maintenance module is another key measure for us to deepen local innovation and promote the digitalization of the construction industry. It will

help building operators achieve a win-win situation of efficient operation and maintenance and sustainable development." Liu Haibin, Chief Technology Officer of Honeywell Intelligent Building

Technologies Group in Greater China, said, "Adhering to the development strategy of 'East Serving East', Honeywell is committed to working with partners through local innovative smart building

products and solutions to accelerate the construction industry's progress towards automation and digitalization."

For a long time, buildings in complex scenarios such as industrial plants, commercial buildings, and data centers have faced huge difficulties in sustainability, scalability, and safety due to their

diverse functions, complex energy-consuming equipment systems, large inventory, and high energy consumption. This new efficient operation and maintenance module will be mainly used in

three main scenarios, including the facility and equipment operation and management platform of industrial plants, the building asset efficient operation platform of commercial buildings, and

the dynamic environment management platform of data centers:

Industrial plants: Remote monitoring and fault diagnosis functions reduce the need for on-site inspections and reduce operation and maintenance costs.

Commercial buildings: Refined management improves customer experience to improve operational efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Data centers: Help meet strict energy efficiency standards and promote the average power utilization efficiency of data centers across the country to drop below 1.5 by the end of 2025. [National

Development and Reform Commission: "Special Action Plan for Green and Low-carbon Development of Data Centers"]

At the same time, this efficient operation and maintenance module is also widely used in digital operation and management scenarios such as smart parks, large complexes, hotels, and campuse

s, helping customers reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve operational resilience.

As a digital industrial high-tech enterprise, Honeywell is helping to achieve continuous energy conservation and emission reduction and cost reduction and efficiency improvement throughout

the life cycle of buildings from three aspects: software, hardware, data and services. Honeywell's core business is in line with China's market demand. In the future, it will continue to work with

Chinese partners to help the construction industry achieve more efficient energy use and help achieve a more low-carbon, efficient, safe and healthy sustainable future.

With the theme of "Connecting the World, Creating the Future", Honeywell has appeared at the CIIE for the third consecutive time, showcasing a series of innovative technologies around the three

major business development trends of automation, energy transformation and future aviation, and promoting the intelligent upgrade and sustainable development of the industrial chain.
