In the current economic environment, the entire industrial industry is facing tremendous pressure. Cost reduction and efficiency improvement have become important topics and keywords in the current industry, and all walks of life are constantly accelerating digital transformation. To achieve the success of digital transformation, creating a full value chain process that integrates software, systems and automation technology is still the key.
At the 2024 SPS exhibition, Rittal and Yipan demonstrated new efficiency drivers in the fields of electrical control cabinets, switch cabinet manufacturing, and equipment engineering from engineering design to production operations through specific examples. Not only that, the new RiLineX power distribution platform also made its debut at this exhibition and became the focus of this exhibition.
Due to the different scales of customers in the electrical control cabinet, switch cabinet manufacturing and machinery industries, the needs for digital development are also inconsistent.
The entire industry is currently facing more and more investments in single-source software, hardware and automation technology. Customers need to have a clear benefit prospect for each investment, which is particularly important in high-cost periods.
Rittal has a combination of solutions to improve data consistency and process efficiency. These solutions not only help to improve the level of automation, but also play a role in other industries such as energy.
As for how to drive the industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency, the answer was fully demonstrated at the booths of Rittal and Yipan. Through on-site simulation operation, taking the Rittal Blue e+ filter fan as an example, the entire process of its system from obtaining the first set of data for analysis to later operation was demonstrated, from which the audience can understand the advantages of high-quality data.
Based on the data in these order management, the Rittal automation system can immediately create the correct opening on the cabinet. High-quality data and data consistency can speed up the process and connect cloud digital documents with fans through the network to achieve intelligent operation and maintenance. Yipan, Rittal and Rittal automation systems combine with each other to create corresponding solutions for different process steps in order to provide customers with accurate data.
The highlight of this exhibition is undoubtedly the debut of RiLineX. RiLineX is an open power distribution system that uses new power distribution technology to make cabinet power distribution safer, faster and simpler. It can efficiently plan and build 60mm busbar systems, helping users save up to 30% of planning and design time and up to 50% of assembly time. Not only that, the entire system has been pre-tested and has a short-circuit resistance of up to 52.5kA.
RiLineX can not only be quickly deployed as a complete circuit board, but its open modular system means that it can build circuit systems up to 2.4 meters (or even longer) using parallel accessories. RiLineX also offers modular versions that can be safely and easily installed on site with standard busbar systems. Through a unified platform strategy, Rittal can provide the required interface data to equipment and component manufacturers free of charge before the product is sold, helping them develop compatible products.
In addition to RiLineX, Rittal also launched the new RiPower software, which uses digital methods to link to the products and solutions established by Rittal and Eplan, helping customers simplify workflows and accelerate the safe planning and construction of low-voltage switchgear. Of course, the exhibition also showcased the new CTM and CTH cutting centers and the PT S4 copper busbar processing center. By continuously upgrading the Rittal automation system, customers can complete operations such as wire duct cutting, copper busbar bending, and punching faster, saving time and improving productivity.
In addition to the many innovative solutions of Eplan Platform 2025 and Eplan Cable proD for machine wiring, visitors also learned about the new Pro Panel, SmartWiring and Smart Mounting and other switchgear building integrated solutions. These solutions can not only greatly improve the production efficiency of customers in traditional industries, but also meet the high-efficiency needs of customers in emerging industries such as the new energy industry.
In the future, Rittal will bring in-depth and highly intelligent solutions to industrial partners around the world at more exhibitions, and work with more industry customers to touch the future of industry.
