The BENDER IR125Y-4 is an insulation monitoring device (IMD) for unearthed AC and DC IT systems. It continuously monitors the insulation resistance of the system and issues an alarm in the event of an insulation fault, thereby increasing electrical safety and system availability.

Automatic adaptation to system leakage capacitances.
Two separately adjustable alarm thresholds.
Indication of operating status and alarm messages via LEDs.
Self-test function to ensure the device is functioning correctly.
Optional fault location function (requires additional BENDER devices).
