1. Product Description

The IC693ALG391 module provides two output channels, each capable of converting 12 bits of binary data into an analog output signal. This module is specifically designed to support current loops, providing a standard range of 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA.

It interfaces directly with the Series 90-30 PLC backplane and consumes power from the +5V and +24V (Isolated) bus.

  • Current Loop Resistance: Ensure the total loop resistance (including the device and wiring) does not exceed the module's maximum drive capability (typically 850 ohms at 24V).

  • Hot Swapping: Do not insert or remove the module while the PLC rack is powered on, as this may damage the internal circuitry.
